TONI'S KITCHEN MISSION

CELEBRATING MEMBERS OF TROOP 20064!!!
TONI'S KITCHEN: MISSION COMPLETE!

Little Hands Connected was excited to welcome our new members, The Girl Scouts of Troop 20064, to help with our most recent Toni's Kitchen Mission! This group of 7 and 8 year old SUPERSTARS met with Miss Sheri in early October to hear about their mission plan.  After hearing their mission, they were on board, and ready to get busy in their community collecting food donations to support their local soup kitchen!

MISSION STEP 1:  After writing letters to explain their mission and attaching them to grocery bags, Lauren, Shane, Julia, Nora, Hannah, Naomi, Natalie, Ashley, Sophia, Shivani, Josie, Claire, Gabrielle, Ella and Natalie headed out door to door to deliver bags!  A week later, on the day they promised, troop members went back out, door to door, to collect the requested donations. Their mission was a HUGE SUCCESS, and every troop member collected several bags filled with donations!  This group effort is a wonderful example of "If everyone does a little, as a team, we can do A LOT!"

Great Job team!!! Below are a few pictures of the SUPERSTARS from Troop 20064!  Please continue to send in your pictures to info@littlehandsconnected.com so we can celebrate you!

       Great Job, Hannah!
  Awesome Effort, Natalie!
               Nice work, Claire!

MISSION STEP 2: The next part of Troop 20064's Mission was to deliver the bags of donations to Toni's (soup) Kitchen. The girls jumped right in and were excited to work together to get the heavy bags from the car to the Kitchen! Nice team work girls!

MISSION STEP 3:  Next, it was time to tour Toni's Kitchen to learn how this amazing soup kitchen operates and supports those in need in our community week after week!

MISSION STEP 4: Finally, it was time for our eager members to volunteer their time by unloading bags and stocking the food pantry shelves of Toni's Kitchen!
